Catching up

I haven't been posting much lately and I apologize for that. I've had some family stuff going on and blogging needs to take a back seat for a while. I'll try to post when I can and thanks for still reading!

We took Saryn to a pumpkin farm last weekend and we had a great time with Saryn. They had so many activities for the kids to do. They had animals to feed, hay stacks to climb, mazes, slides, cotton fields, hay ride and of course the picking of the pumpkins. Saryn loved it all.

She loves having lots of land to run around in - definitely a country girl at heart!

We had to convince Saryn to walk past the first few pumpkins she saw and actually go into the pumpkin patch to look for pumpkins! I think she wanted to take them all home! We were there for at least 2.5 hours and when we told Saryn it was time to go she actually cried! We might need to visit "farms" more often. :)

You can view more photos from the pumpkin farm at our Shutterfly site. Enjoy!

Smart girl not to get herself dirty! How "girlie" I seem to remember "boys" who thought it wonderful to pick up the broken pumpkins and look for the seeds!
